But Mammoth isn’t just a winter destination! Between the fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and adventure-seeking, we certainly haven’t been bored in the 30+ years we’ve been visiting Mammoth.
Mammoth is arguably the favorite ski destination for Southern California residents at just a straight, non-mountainous 5-hour drive from Los Angeles.
With camera-surveilled, locked, covered parking and an elevator that takes you straight up to the 4th floor, you won’t be worried about dead car batteries during the cold winter months.
Not interested in the drive? Fly directly into Mammoth airport from Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, San Jose, or San Francisco. Shuttles are plentiful and will get you to our property in no time.
The Equity Residences’ luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is within Mammoth Village. Once you check in, there’s no need for a car.
Grab your gear from your private ski locker and walk three minutes to the gondola.
Stroll to myriad restaurants, cafes, shops and bars.
You’d rather stay in? Perfect. Take advantage of our kitchen which is fully-stocked with all the culinary tools you’ll need to prepare an amazing meal.
Worried about Village noise? Never fear. We purposefully chose this 4th story unit which faces the mountains, away from the interior Village noise. Sleep like a baby with the windows open during the summer months. Wake up to wonderful and majestic Sherwin Mountain views. The master has a gorgeous, comfortable king bed, and offers its own 32′ flat screen TV and private bath.
And in true Equity Residences’ style, we’ve covered every detail for you. From the highest end bed linens, to cozy touches like a furry West Elm Mammoth pillow, you’ll feel the true spirit of the mountains here. The second bedroom has a queen and has it’s own 32′ flat screen also.
Additional bedding is available with the pull-out sleeper sofa allowing this 2 bedroom unit to sleep up to 6.
Our luxury condo is bright, cheery, has free wifi, cable, and three flat screen TVs. Want to unwind with a good book? Our balcony overlooks the mountains and is a perfect place to indulge in some quiet time.
And we haven’t even mentioned how kid-friendly Mammoth is! As long as the kiddos are potty trained, they can join the exceptional ski school program. So get on that potty training folks! Mammoth even offers a tag team lift ticket so parents can share a single ticket. Fancy. With a gigantic year-round heated pool, hot tubs, fire pits, and plenty of running room, the kids won’t be bored in the Village.
Ours certainly didn’t tire of the corn hole games strewn throughout the Village. And see that restaurant behind the kids? Campo is by far the best Italian place in town; and believe us, we’ve tried ’em all! Campo offers homemade pastas, gluten free options, and desserts that are completely justified given the calories burned during our daytime activities…or not.
